Tune In: BodeTree’s Latest Small Business Makeover on MSNBC

Chris Myers and the Brown family of The Kale Cafe

Chris Myers reviews financial data with the Browns

Join Chris Myers, CEO of BodeTree, this Sunday as he travels to Daytona Beach, FL to help out the Kale Café on this Sunday’s episode of MSNBC’s Your Business. The Kale Café, owned and operated by Camille and Omar Brown, is a juice bar and vegan restaurant with a Caribbean twist. Their unique menu offerings provide them with a sizable customer base that frequents their two locations. Their café features a menu with a diverse selection of meat alternative dishes with their most popular dish being their Organic Veggie Burger.

While the Kale Café team are an experts in serving the highest quality vegan dishes, they brought in the help of financial expert Chris Myers and restaurateur Dean Max to cook up a solution to their business challenges. The Kale Café has strong revenue growth and very ambitious expansion goals, as they are looking to open a third café later this year. However, they have been struggling to keep their small business finances organized.

With Chris’ guidance, the Browns dig into their business financials using BodeTree and begin the process of understanding their small business health indicators. Additionally, Dean helps them take a deeper look at the costs associated with their most popular dish, the Organic Veggie Burger, and source more cost-effective ingredients to create a meal that maximizes their profit margin without compromising quality or taste.

Tune in on Sunday to watch the full episode!
